Pros

A great starter brush for watercolor calligraphy. Only drawback is that it's a little bit hard to fill - you have to squeeze the reservoir. But that's not a big deal, imo - all i care about is how it paints, and this brush paints beautifully.

They are easy to fill offer good control of water flow and do not leak

No problems with stray bristles and the rounds do seem to stay wellpointed

These brushes have rubber rings to control flow so theoretically could be taken apart and carried in pieces

Althiugh it is clearly possible i have never used it that way so test for yourself before risking your paint

I think yasutomo niji are the best water markers on the market
