I liked the sound better with the stock chinese tubes so i reinstalled the originals
Im sure that some of the higher end tube amps will surpass it but im very satisfied with this one
My unit comes with the 12at7 and the 12au7 tubes

I guess it gives it a more machine type look and it does but those screws are a pain in the butt and the holes dont properly align either

Im running an oppo 83se disk player and paradigm 100 v5 speakers and with miles davis albums the width of the soundstage goes way beyond the boundary of the speakers

That being said the one thing that bums me out is no main out or main in wich means i can not bi amp
