Pros
Bluetooth is very convenient and lightning fast to connect. Love connecting to it via bluetooth.
Even my new edifier p17 bookshelf speakers sound massive. Lots of power to drive big speakers. No sub woofer input but there may be a work around.
For the money, it beats the other options i could find available. The one that goes with it is no longer available for purchase. I assume that repairs on the older one might run to a similar price anyway. Yamaha is one of my favorite brands for audio.... Read More
Cons
Couldn't pair bluetooth without using the remote. Completely faulty, does not even turn on. Another issue is that the treble and bass controls do not make much difference.

Unfortunately he refused to listen when i told him he was attaching the left speaker to the right channel and vice versa

The one thing that bothers me about this unit is the same thing thats bothered me about almost all electronics made since the distressingly persistent fad of making them in unrelieved black took over
