    We did an a-b comparison between the yamaha and another pa system that is just cobbled together in my garage,using one very cheap microphone and another one of a good name but still dubious quality for vocals and 12 string guitar.

    The microphones were plugged into a behringer xenyx1622 mixer which was plugged into both amplifying systems to provide a consistent comparison.

    If you pick up a dxs you'll want to convert the unbalanced rca (-10 db) out to xlr (+4 db).
