Pros & Cons
Pros
The yale lock weighs a ton and feels very sturdy and well made. Like all u locks, the downside is the weight, and this pretty heavy.
The mechanism is very simple and easy to use. The keyway has a sliding plastic cover to protect from rain. Seems like a reasonably robust d lock.

Cons
Even with maintenance following the official guidelines, the lock jamms and the keys break a mere 6 weeks after purchasing it. Lesson learnt; avoid yale and buy quality. Rusting within 5 months.

Please note the little plastic thing on the u bend of the lock that is used to attach to the mount on the bike frame this is not in the correct position when you purchase it theres a little screw for a hex key so you can slide it up and down the bend into the position you need it in but you need a really small hex key almost precision size which youre unlikely to have in lying around in your house
