The d shackle is sturdy and large enough to hold a bike to a rack or rail. Can be used to attach helmet securely.
Purchased over a month ago--totally loving the experience. Absolutely 100% awesome. Fantastic lock for the price.
Cons
Used 3 times and lock froze. Lubricated but to no avail. Lock broken and had to call locksmith to retrieve my bike.
Even with maintenance following the official guidelines, the lock jamms and the keys break a mere 6 weeks after purchasing it. Lesson learnt; avoid yale and buy quality.

I use abus granite locks i wanted a cheaper one for front wheels whilst it does have amazing strength the steel u is round that means it can be cut just once on one side and removed unlike abus and kryptonite square or shaped which need to be cut both sides to remove

Its like gambling its a question of oddsa casual stroll along bike thief who is after any bike will walk straight past this lock too hard to defeat

An experienced bike thief with bolt cutters down hisher trousers will pass this lock by as its going to be slow and hard worka professional bike thief with a van and a lookout may try this lock with hisher battery powered angle grinder with a 1mm metal cutting blade

So look at the odds lots of casual thieves a lot less experienced thieves and hopefully very few professional thieves who tend to only target high end bikes say over £2000with a lock as good as this one the odds are now in your favour and as i bought this on june 21st prime day it cost less than £20 resultbefore you buy a lock look at bikes parked in your towncity loads of little cable locks easy to break in seconds
