The reason is the 25mm would be fine on the frame alone but once the rattan effect material is wrapped it adds a couple of mm

Lovley quality furniture looks amazing one snag the feet were damaged but emailed straight away and they said they would send new ones

There was also slight damage to the front weaving but i only noticed it when the three seater was complete and i could not be bothered to dismantle for return after about three hours of assembly

Had to leave the washers out on these two items in order to put them together

All said quite sturdy and looks good once assembled even though it is meant to be weatherproof

Box looked like it had been opened however everything was included missing 4 screws

A word of warning i had several of the screws and washers missing from a couple of packages
