Although there are slots for 6 bikes im not sure you could fit 6 adult mountain bikes on this 4 bikes fit very easily

Leave the buckles connected and you can just slide it off with the tailgate hinged

You can tuck away a flap so the backup camera can work

The flap only goes half way down the tailgate which causes the wheel of the bike to hit the tail gate constantly
