The elastic cummerbund holds plates and pads perfectly and securely. Most people are afraid of plastic clips but the are sturdy & lasted even now. Nylon webbings is very strong.

Id advise not using this for actual sapi plate use if you are small or average build

See my video for details but shoulder straps at their smallest wont bring a real sapi plate high enough in front and rear for proper protection

I know this is marketed as airsoft but it is built strong enough to carry real plates and the manufacturing even states real plates can be put in
