Pros
The algae * works amazing has terrific flow and can control the air bubbles if you want them or not. After just 3 days of use our fishies and snails are happy again. Our snails hide whenever we get an algae bloom.
Cons
This in no way shape or form stops the green algae from being in your tank. Misleading and *.

Sometimes the water would be milky cloudy which indicates bacterial imbalance that should straighten out on its own but after waiting the milky clouds would turn into greenish dingy looking algae blooms

I set it yesterday at 330 pm that is the first picture i put the filter in the middle over night now 1136 am just change the filter to the side now that my tank is clean because my betta doesn’t like do much movement

After going to pet stores and following their recommendations which only resolved the blooms temporarily i decided to go on aqueon site and see if there were other tricks low and behold they mentioned this uv light
