Pros

The lamp comes with a convenient on and off switch at its base, and that is more accessible anyway. The cord has a dimmer switch. Love the on/off switch on the device not on the ac plug wire.

This fixture is a heavy duty, easy to repair item. I highly recommend it if you're into that steampunk / edison bulb look. It looks great with an edison bulb and provides a lot of light.

These are very solidly built with a bit of grunge. Sturdy and well worth the price. Very solid and durable.

Love this nifty little lamp. Really nice little light fixture. Small but puts out good light.

Cons

The cord is extremely thin(high gauged) and i would not recommend a putting a bulb in it over 40 watts. This light never works and when it did it almost burnt my house to the ground.
