Purchased this camera on amazon and had a lot of trouble getting it running

Some of which was my fault just on the edge of my router so the connection would go in and out and some was a vexing defect in the camera that was also not easy to diagnose

Well in my case not only did they stand behind it but they worked extensively to make sure i got the camera working properly

The video quality among the two hd cameras is comparable

They responded quickly eager to help and genuinely friendly while foscam customer service hold times are excruciatingly long and the staff not so friendly

Also it may be a function of not truly understanding how to set up the foscams but the ycam sends me email with photos and video links when it detects motions
