Since we upgraded to windows 10 the sound quality out of the headphone jack has deteriorated tremendously it was okay on old windows

2 is 2x the cost sounds worse
Unfortunately the price has jumped to 45

I use it with sony xperia z5 compact and it sounds now on par with premium daps
40s and a fiio a3 amp which adds punch to lower frequencies
I have a behringer uca202 dac which was 29 and its 8yrs old

When used with android you will not be able to access the dacs internal hardware volume control

You will have full software level audio control in android though

If you need to access the hardware volume you will need the usb audio player pro app from the play store

Volume is fairly loud with my iems i have windows volume at 50 and turn most apps down about halfway after that
