I am not too savvy with these kind of things however once i figured out how to attach the hose to the pump

But you need to know that you have to order a different attachment if you want it to fit a standard garden hose

It can be cut to three different sizes all quite larger than a standard 34 hose thread

To use it i had to tie down the cable and float with plastic cable ties in such a way that the float is at the bottom of the pump and is sideways

Then the pump turns on when the float is at about 25 degrees tilted from horizontal
