The big bendy should be able to support smaller interchangeable lens cameras like the sony a6000 or panasonic lumix gm5 with a small lens but i didnt test those cameras so i cannot be sure

I was able to hang the big bendy from the top of a door to use as a hair light in one portrait and placed it behind my daughter for a dramatic back light in another portrait

The only thing that i personally found it a bit cheaper is the part where the camera is placed the head of the tripod
