Pros
Our bathroom is drier and the fan is quieter. Now bathroom is steam and odour free.
Only complaint is back-draft shutter which has weak springs.
Took me all of ten minutes to swap it for the old extractor, including drilling new mounting holes. It also grips the inside of the pipe. Ok you have to be a little bit careful when removing the face plate, it's not meant for using as a hammer.
Cons
Components don't snap together very well and there is no totally sealed area for writing. Lack of non-return flaps are inexcusable.
You have to fit a condensation drain in the ducting with this fan. Otherwise the condensate drains into the electrics. One is permanently open, and at more than 90°, it doesn't even blow shut in a backdraught.
Noise lev is ok. The fan is an overpriced badly noisy product that shouldn't exist.

I had to change the timer and the speed after using the shower with the window closed and opening the unit once installed is very tricky

As the fan also detects humidity it will hum quietly away if having a shower bath in lower lighting

Purchased the circular one instead of the square one and then had to perform some fixes after the fitting

The holes are not in the same place as the originals so had to drill some new holes
