Picture is very good during the day with great detail 50 feet away but you cannot read a license plate at that distance

Now for the negativesthe box does not include necessary basic items like a mount and the 12v 2amp power supply

Instructions and software is on a cd in the box but because the software is more complicated than it needs to be it is difficult to set up the camera even if you actually read and follow the instructions

My experience with configuring cameras with different ips is weak so i set up another standalone router with the subnet of the camera to be able to configure it

Makes a noticeable click when the ir kicks in under low light conditions
