Pros

The oak platform is solid and perfectly varnished, which meaningfully contributes to a sharper and therefore faster rebound. The hardwood is highly polished and looks fantastic. Everything else is solid.

It's not a biggie though. It assembles quite easily. Height adjusts easily.

The included swivel isn’t the best on the market, but can be swapped out. I agree with other reviews and upgraded to the everlast professional speedbag swivel, but be aware it is a different bolt pattern.

Vibration is very minimal, the mount is rock solid. Frankly the only platform that have zero vibration is a custom made one at my boxing gym with a 3 inch thick platform * directly into a steel wall.

Installation isn't bad. It lag screws and bolts together snugly. Did have to straighten out the platform mounting tabs. Remove the nut and bearing and add a large washer under and replace and adjust the nut for proper tightness.

Cons

This is nothing more than typical * built, marked up, chinese junk. Look at my pics. The base was really warped right out of the box. However, i have little confidence in the manufacturing process and quality control that allowed the out of flat frame... Read More

The wooden platform itself came with gouges in the side. On both of them the square holes are not aligned and therefore the v-unit wobbles when installed and not on level when the brackets on the wall are leveled.

Online reviews referred to the platform as oak. It is not oak. My guess is poplar which is a less attractive hardwood.

Solid as a rock beautiful wood good swivel easy to mount to the wall the double box packaging exceeded my expectations

Like everything i have purchased from xmark shipping was fast packaging was excellent and the platform is solid and exudes quality

I did considerable investigation before deciding on the xmark

I paired this with an outslayer heavy duty swivel and love the results

I use an xs bag and a xxs bag
