Here the manufacturer would have to add appropriate circuitry to the transmitter and receiver driving up costs but id still prefer it
My only complaint is that since the remote is rf not ir 1 remote powers onoff and changes colors for all 4 sets of leds
When selecting the white the led string is bright enough to illuminate a room enough to prevent you from stubbing your toe but not for reading
