Pros
The xikar v-cutter is an innovative and highly effective design. It's not obvious how klutzy the plastic cutters–v or guillotine–are until using this finely-crafted instrument. This is the cigar cutter you need, if you want to try v cut.
Cons
It gets the job done ok, but doesn't live up to my expectations of the xicar name. The slide sticks a lot. The blade is a low grade of steel that i expect to dull quickly.

Overall if vcut is your preference this is the cigar cutter you need if you want to try v cut

If you like a straight cut xikar also makes a fantastic straight cut as well as a punch all of which come with their lifetime sharpness warranty
