The speakers are on either side of the screen offer good stereo separation and although the volume and quality of sound is satisfactory the unit is unlikely to win awards for its audio performance but thats what wired or bluetooth speakers are for

Ive added microsoft office and can confirm the word docs work flawlessly but it doesnt come preinstalled at this price
