Not as cheap to purchase as a wire nut but connecting is faster than wire nuts the snap provides much more positive feed back that a secure contact is complete than a wire nut requires fewer tools and you can do ½ the connectivity work while still on the ground

If properly connected they don’t come loose

They will work on stranded wires since there is not resistance on the wire until the lever is lowered
