Cable works great on an hdtv though
These black bars occur with the oem cables i had before so its not anything to complain about but its good to know before you decide to buy

The psp does not automatically switch to the tv once its plugged in

When you start the game up the psp launcher appears smaller however when the game itself starts it takes up much less of the screen
