Cons
The adhesive is not very sticky. The wires and thin polystyrene insulation are virtually weightless and should never have released at all.
The price is great, the tape is not. While this tape is near flat black and can be torn by hand, it is not real gaff tape. Comes undone in applications that real gaffer tape never comes undone is.
When pulling off the tape, some of the adhesive remained attached to the chair arm. This tape sticks to almost nothing.

If left untreated this will very quickly tarnish and the oxidation will rub off onto just about everything it comes into contact with creating a secondary mess

The simplest way of resolving this issue is to basically cut out a twoinch square of black gaffers tape center it over the mounting hole and apply
