If you want strong 2-sided tape get the mighty x brand. After waiting longer than usual my expectation was shattered. Probably depends on the carpet, but this tape barely sticks to mine.

But im sure depending on what youre sticking it to it would peel off wasy enough

Dont press it into your fabric too hard as it becomes a little harder to remove if you need to reposition it or remove it altogether
