Pros
The printer works well but i have some connexion issues. It cranks out duplex prints at a fairly fast pace. Despite the limitations of black only printing this is fast and easy to use.
Mac os big sur user). I believe this may be a new software tool that was released after some/all of the negative reviews. Downloaded the driver from the xerox website on my windows laptop.
There is a wifi configuration tool that is supposed to run on both catalina and big sur. Wirelessly and local lan cat-5. The printer has a function called wi-fi direct and, if making a direct usb connection to the printer, can be used to access cwis.
I usually configure printers on the network before even thinking about getting drivers installed. The emulation sub-menu provides settings related to various printer emulation settings.
This one is slightly different. There are two complaint topics that are covered very well.
Cons
The xerox b-210 is one of the most user unfriendly products i have ever purchased. It turns itself off quickly, but prints a configuration page on startup. It only prints when it feels like it.
The cable needs to be usb-a on one end and usb-b on the other, which is not mentioned in the instructions. Wifi is impossible to setup on a mac unless you have a computer networking background.
The easy wifi setup program does nothing to make the printer known to my windows 10 setup. There was no wi-fi direct for connecting your mobile devices to the printer.

Overall i am happy with the printer because i only need to print now and again

I got it to reduce the cost of ink in my hp inkjet
The only downside to this is the consumable costs

It took longer to take off all the tape and other shipping parts than it took to run set up

Its much cheaper to run than ink jet
After trying a xerox printer and giving up after an hour of attempting set up i returned it for this hp
I plugged a cat5 cable into it and power ran the printer software that came in the box

Basically when i print a page from my computer the printer gets mad and prints all paper in the tray with unknown characters

This replaced a much more expensive canon printerscanner which was a nightmare to set up and never even printed clearly
