The product is thick mesh and sharp, and requires gloves for handling. Wear a safety mask, eye protection and thick gloves when working with it. Buy heavy quality scissors to cut into strips and use leather gloves to avoid metal fiber splinters.

It is prickly and tough. This makes it perfect for sealing out those pests. It cuts easy with scissors.



Cons

A definite better choice is the xcluder rodent control pack. That steel wool is very sharp and much more malleable. This is the 2nd time we found that a rodent had chewed this stuff to pieces and created entry spot. Didn't deter them at all.
