They work as advertised but take the negative reviews lightly. Negative reviews on longevity are because the end-user installed them in a shaded area.

The transparent plastic over the solar panel literally shrinks in size, and becoming opaque. Can't send back just the defective two. Have to uninstall all of them and send them back.
