There is no noticeable latency and it works as advertised. The only problem i've had is that it sometimes messes up detecting a yellow + green cymbal hit.

Xbox treats the adapter as a wired xbox controller without triggers, bumpers, or analog sticks. The midi pro adapter does what it is supposed to do.

The adapter lets you add a real midi keyboard to our 360 for playing rockband. In the case of the keyboard, which was all i had to test, the game looks for some two octave range to play on. I use my roland vdrums with it, and it is a blast.

There's a weird coating on the controller. The entire thing is completely sticky and smells. Whatever was on the inside of the packaging (covered over 75% of the top of the adapter also) is sticky.
