I'm thankful it was. Sort of like a short shifter on a car. Its huge size and weight are an added bonus.
The stick, the *, and everything about the console all feel really good. It's plug & play and uses the same drivers all other xbox 360 controllers do. The controller is only slightly less heavy than the xbox 360 itself.

My solid recommendation of this stick stands firm a fantastic product
Overall build quality is like a tank
By all means if you are disappointed with the madcatz brand seek hori as a substitute
Price
The price may be higher than what one would expect to spend but its completely worth it
This thing is on sale for a ridiculous price
Packaging/appearance
Also the control panel has a very fine hammered texture to it and isnt prone to scratches like the madcatz stick

The default gate that is included can be changed between an 8way square gate and a 4way cross gate

It worked beautifully for a few weeks then the pcb died

Was told that they no longer service this item and that they could not repair or replace damaged goods i replied stating that it was only a few weeks old and had a warranty and my emails were ignored i replaced the pcb with a cthulu used just for sf4other fighting games on pc and it works just fine just a sour taste seeing as how they wouldnt replace the pcb on an obvious manufacturing defect

It gives you the sense that you could mash buttons all day and pretty much abuse the thing and its not going to affect it in a negative way

The square gate is maybe where this stick falls apart for some people

However this means you have to be more precise if you want to move left right up or down because you may end up hitting a diagonal if youre not careful

The nature of that style of gate means that whichever direction you move you hit a corner since the gate is in the shape of an octagon
