They make these in bali i have alot of masks and figurines from there theyre woodworking maniacs thats way better than if it were machined in a chinese factory

Mine has been holding up fine for 3 years now in a very humid area south louisiana plus i mute it alot which traps warm moist breath in it and i do not see any reason to apply a moisture barrier to the inside the bare mahogany gives it the low tone do not varnish

Basically the smaller mouthpiece requires less jaw movement to keep the drone going while not breaking the air seal
