Added benefit is that this model is one of the few to still have a changable battery although a 5yr longlife version so if they do suffer battery failure like the other brand its just a case of buying a new common battery and not a whole unit so overall a better roi

We bought these to protect an outbuilding so installed one in the building and a wireless link connects it to a second in the main house
