Pros

Been meaning to replace the old yellowed hard wired smoke detectors around the house after painting. Replaced 2 primary units with smoke + co models. I am a 70 year old female who took her electric screwdriver and replaced the old one in minutes!

Lithium ion batteries do well in maintaining their charge while in storage. And 10 year battery life.

The blinking led light lets you know they are operational. That triggers the city inspectors to enter your home and check out the smoke and carbon monoxide (co) detectors. Clear instructions tell you where in your home to place the detectors!

Cons

More junk from china. It quit working after five months.
