Been meaning to replace the old hard wired smoke detectors around the house after painting. Replaced 2 primary units with smoke + co models. I am a 70 year old female who took her electric screwdriver and replaced the old one in minutes!

The blinking led light lets you know they are operational. Wish it had a communicating capability. Clear instruction tell you where in your home to place the detectors.

Lithium ion batteries do well in maintaining their charge while in storage. I'm very pleased and would get another should the need arise.

It is malfunctioning, beeping randomly and endlessly. The manual says this indicates malfunction. The only option to get it to shut up is to permanently deactivate it.

More junk from china. They seem to be hoping i will give up. Didn't save anything buying on amazon.
