Pros

The 10 year battery is now a requirement in my municipality too. It comes with stuff to properly install the alarms if needed. The lithium battery gives you 10 years of life.

The product seems to be well made. Saw the price and was hesitant. Appears well made and hope it is good quality for detecting smoke. These little smoke alarms are awesome!

Cons

All 3 units were found dead and would not beep to test. No heat, smoke or anything to activate it. The sensing smoke mechanism is garbage and shouldn’t be trusted. The company x-sense knows that it doesn't work.

The way they designed this product is asinine. Look elsewhere for a decent alarm. What a disappointment.

The battery is not replaceable. There is zero way to contact the company for help. I am waiting for the seller to contact me.

Update well it took 3 days to hear from customer service but they explained what was not explained in the manual
