Pros

Alarm test and interconnect feature test both work exactly as described. You'll be alerted if the shed detector alarms. There is no off button, only a test/reset button and it works flawlessly.

Installation is a cinch. All six units were already paired to their network out of the box. Activation is as simple as twisting the detectors onto their base mount.

Local codes now require hardwired or ten year sealed battery detectors. This set is a sealed battery and works very well.

I'm a proponent of having combination detectors, and i have always wanted a connected set. The coolest thing about these is that they can be interconnected. These are beyond what i needed, as they snyc/connect as well.

No stud required, they are light and come with everything needed to attach to drywall. Screw the mounting ring to the ceiling or wall and attach the detector.

Cons

Two of the three detectors in my 3-pack order have faulty tests; incomplete audio test patterns. There is no etl or ul or tuv mark on the product or box or manual that shows this product has been listed to the ul smoke alarm certification.

These will also warn you and chirp you i believe when the batterys about to die so you have time to buy replacements

They are a very affordable option to allow you to get a connected fire alarm system with minimal cost

Liked that the price was right and easy to install and that i feel safe in the event of smoke or co2

A few years ago i replaced all of my ac mains powered smoke detectors with a different brand of battery powered detectors

I wrote a review about another one of these types brand just a bit different in the led panel

Some faraway engineer tried to put out a good product at an excellent price and he succeeded
