Pros
These are very easy to install and interconnect. The smoke coming out of the matches is enough to se the alarm in just a few seconds. Easy to activate, setup and link together. These are beyond what i needed, as they snyc/connect as well.
The sc06-w is an interlinked smoke detector set that works very well. The individual alarm test and interconnect feature test both work exactly as described. You'll be alerted if the shed detector alarms.
These are expensive but it is cheap insurance in an unfortunate circumstance such as a fire or a cracked heat exchanger in your furnace pumping carbon monoxide into your home.
The units appear to be well constructed and the baseplate is very sturdy. Standing on a ladder got quicker results than standing on the ground. These aren't tiny, and slightly larger than those most builders install.
They're lightweight so a couple of screws gently * into the ceiling drywall will be sufficient. The only complaint i have is that there is no way to utilize the 2 screw holes at either end of an electrical box. They are light and come with everything ... Read More

The wirelessly-interconnected version of the detector is not certified. There is no etl or ul or tuv mark on the product or box or manual that shows this product has been listed to the ul smoke alarm certification.

I dislike having to remember to install batteries every six months so a 10 year device works for me

First the base is designed so your have to use screws to mount it

Other alarms i have used had a smooth base that allowed me to use velcro being used in a boat so screw holes are not great

The second complaint is the flashing indicator is so bright is lights up the room or cabin in my case every time it blinks
