The xsense smoke and carbon monoxide alarm has a nonreplaceable lithium battery with a ten year life so when the battery runs low a low battery alarm will sound you will need to replace the complete unit

Extremely loud be careful because once triggered it feels like its banging on your ears definitely will wake every heavy sleeper even the neighbors for that matter

Conseasy installation however you do have to screw in three bolts it would have been best if the design would allow for stickglue instead

Well you set it up and leave it there for around ten years until the battery dies then you replace the whole thing
