Pros

Everything about this keypad is terrific. For simple keystroke copying, great. I have carpal tunnel and had to add a piece of cloth wrapped foam board in front of it to make it comfortable.

X-keys xk-60 makes the process efficient and speedy. Only thing i don't like (other than cost) is the keys aren't like modern mechanical keys, and have the rubber membrane feel.

I like it so much, it sleeps with me now hahaha. Works a charm. I am so glad i took the plunge.

P. Amp;w allows you to create custom key legends. You can highlight a specific number of keys and change the background color of all of them at once. The legends are based on microsoft's segoe fluent icons font.

Cons

However, programming them is extremely difficult. I was inches away from returning mine out of sheer frustration over the software. I will be sending the keypad back since macos compatibility has lagged behind.

Price

Price shocked me a little at first but after using it i would happily pay for it again

Keyboard maestro also costs 36 in addition to whatever you have paid for this product

Xkeys is awfully expensive to work less well than a iphone app

The only thing i dont like other than cost is the keys arent like modern mechanical keys and have the rubber membrane feel

Competitiveness

I use a lot of hotkeys and it is excellent to have them on a compact device instead of searching for them on a keyboard

May buy an xkey jog shuttle for my video editing machine since this is so easy to set up
