My only issue was that when i cut something thick like cardboard or plastic the blade would often fall out of the knife and the top would come unscrewed

My 36 vinyl cutter came with an offbrand xacto knife and the blades did not stick all the way down the locking mechanism

So i tossed it and ordered real xacto knives and 11 blades the ones i grew up using as a graphic artist in the 70s and 80s before personal computing became the norm for graphic artists
