Wyze cameras connect to wifi at the 2. The app allows monitoring and camera use at all times. Still learning options in app. Video recordings (vs just snapshots) for motion-based events.
The camera is always on and doesn't miss a thing. The video and audio quality is good too. It’s a good camera, very good considering the price.
Cons
Paying monthly is now the only way to see why you are being notified of movement. These are worthless. After a short free trial, that requires a subscription.
The box is taped up, it’s filthy, the front of the camera is dirty! One is an older model and 2 are the cam 3 models.
It goes offline after 1hr 30min worth of usage. It freezes then goes “offline”. When you go to unplug it while being home and plug it back in you have to reset it as a new device for it to work.

It’s a good camera very good considering the price
Packaging/appearance
It is in the wyze camera wall mount bracket from mrount store was a tight fit with that but it has held up and no issues with watercam yet
The v3 is the best out of the wyze cameras to buy
Competitiveness
The annual subscription is quite reasonable and a nobrainer
Ive been running the wyze v2 cameras for several years

I bought this product because a coworker said this was a great product to purchase i used it one time and it worked and i put it away and i just brought it out yesterday to use and it doesn’t work it doesn’t connect to my network when i have everything in my office connect it i’m very disappointed in this and the lack of customer service
