Pros
Two sets of sharpeners - a 'course' set for basic sharpening and then 'fine' for finishing the edge. The one half sharpens (i. My knives are back to factory sharp or even sharper! The sharpener works really well with my wusthof chef’s knife.
Cons
Wusthof's 'gourmet' range is a punt at a wider market of home cooks. It's aimed at mass market but isn't as functionally effective as the purchaser might hope.
The carbide 'coarse' side really struggles to remove material from the edge of a blade. It needs clearer instructions and clarification of which blade to use. Get some sharpening stones instead.
