Pros

This kit conveniently bundles everything you need in one box at an affordable price. Do not hesitate to add this mod to your wsm.

Spread sealant out a little with a plastic knife or popsicle stick. If you haven’t used rtv silicone before, the stuff gets everywhere. Use a comb or something to make ridges in the silicone.

Using this gasket kit around the edges of the door seems to be addressing that problem quite nicely. Helps keep the door from chipping the enamel.

Cons

It still looses smoke as bad as it did before i installed the gasket. I guess i didn't realize that this would be price gouged and was available through the manufacturer for much less. Doesn't stick out.
