So i would say as you push down to slice the apple turn your heard slightly the other way

The reason for 4 stars is this slicercorer does not seem to be as sharp as the other brand i purchased from amazon

You can eat apples without the stickiness and for myself more of the apple is eaten rather than tossed due to the core and seeds

I think the very center circle of it could stand to be just a tiny bit lower maybe a couple mm so that the apple basically falls apart when youre done

It doesnt hang up on the core like some apple corers do

Just center it on the apple and push down firmly i do this over a cutting board because you do have to put a lot of pressure after you reached the bottom just lift up and pop out the bottom pieces
