Pros
The beans can be purchased quite cheaply from most seed catalogs. It is now a 10' vigorous vine, which i've transplanted outdoors (i live in a midwestern zone 5 growing area) where it is doing fabulously.
Cons
The seed comes out of the box, so the person can see the message before it grows, so it looses its charm. Didnt work. Will never buy again. Didn't even sprout.

The words i love you were clear on one side but a little fadded on the other but overall the product looked great
I could not find any directions anywhere with the product or on the internet explaining how long it takes to grow this bean
Price
If you are not inclined to make your own though these are a very nice gift and i suppose the price is not all that bad

Do take note warning the canavalia gladiate or sword bean an african inport can be toxic and if you grow the bean to maturity it must be specially prepared

I took a random guess but was off by a week so my gift was just a box of dirt until it actually came up out of the ground
