I have a fairly new fridge which was fitted with a 10w incandescent bulb which failed the socket for it had a sign saying 10w max

I went to a local retailer a national chain with over 300 branches to be told that they dont make those in 10w only 15w

I bought one and fitted it but in no time the silver foil backing started to show crinkling as a result of heat damage
