You could also use an ac adaptor if your camera will be installed near a power source but for now i am just using the batteries

Being motion activated really helps because if there is no movement it wont be running so the batteries will last a lot longer

User friendly simple to set up 2 modes record video or pictures infrared for night shots which ill be setting up in my back yard to see where this giant rat is coming from thats trying to get into my bbq grill
