Pros
The shredder is what it is, a string trimmer in a bowl. It shreds like a beast when wire is new (good length) cheaper than competitors and definitely does the job.
Does a good job even with my big leathery oak leaves. It's like a big * eater but does the job of turning leaves into confetti and dust. Earthworms love it and i'm building up the soil every year.
The worx wg430 leaf mulcher does the job for which it was intended, at a reasonable price. Fine for mulching dry fall leaves.
Cons
The 11:1 ratio is inaccurate. Engineering in the name of minimal liability really takes away from the usefulness of this product. Not a good start after hearing the lauds on a youtube demonstration.

I used the lid of a garbage can to feed the leaves in a controlled way and pick out sticks and twigs before they went into the hopper
Bag up your mower clippings and pass them through the mulcher right into the compost pile

Cheaper than competitors and definitely does the job
Bought this last fall and it is a gamechanger
A prefilter those fibrous kitchen scrub pads work great attached with velcro right over the intake fins

You have to watch out for sticks as they can clog it and prevent the mulched leaves from falling through

It uses weed whacker type of line and you pour the leaves in the top and the chopped leaves come out the bottom
