Pros
This is a small, but beautiful cookbook that is chock-full of color photographs & authentically french recipes. That this condensed idea is available to share makes me elated - this is french food!

This cookbook is much more than a cookbook. It's a photographic journey with thoughtful narration. This isn't just another paris-centric cookbook— it’s another paris.
Cons
This is beyond dull and uninspiring. This is amateurish and uninteresting in the extreme. This book lacks authority, and the recipes are dull.

But for me the pleasure of this book is in where it takes you—with the author’s insider voice guiding you bringing you to the brink of an alleyway and letting you wander down drawn by photos in a trance of pageturning the book is lovely to touch to imagined scents sounds and to meet authentic parisians you wouldn’t otherwise meet
