Foot shop vac hose is perfect for that and for any other job. Good to keep loud shop vac at a distance.

Suction is great, no noticeable impact in my opinion. Cleaning the garage without moving the vacuum or dust separator. That involves vacuuming out the shingle pebbles and other debris that accumulate.

Included are three adapters, two with locking tabs for the newer style vacuum models but don't interfere with the non-locking style. The * connectors work great and are sturdy.

Cons

Put this hose on and less suction than old hose. Hose looks to be about 1-3/4 inches usable. But it kinks easily and sometimes just collapses so no suction at the end.
